Apologies for the long time without the newsletter. I am trying to get more organized about structuring and sending it out. I have decided that every two weeks makes more sense than weekly. In the coming weeks I also plan to improve the format a bit and add some pictures.

• We continue to work on registering as a 501(c)(4)
• The pilot of our Bus stop QR codes was rolled out two weeks ago at 10 bus stops and we tend to get daily usage in the 0-10 range which is modest but promising

• City Council Meeting on Monday, 06/06/2022 at 5 pm:
  • A lot of budget approvals
  • Zoning Map Amendment for Riverton Park Campus from R-5 Residential to R-5a Residential and B-2 Community Business for a new mixed use housing development by the Portland Housing Development Corporation and Portland Housing Authority
  • Adding place of assembly to the list of uses for R-5a for a new mixed use housing development by the Portland Housing Development Corporation and Portland Housing Authority
  • Voting to repeal the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Conservation Overlay
  • Traffic Schedule Amendment Re: Brighton Avenue and Deering Avenue Bikeway Projects
